Change the timezone of my ReferralCandy account

Note: Changing the timezone will affect the tracking of your referred purchases.

The timezone for your ReferralCandy account should be the timezone of the timestamp indicated in your invoice emails to ensure proper tracking of your referred purchases.


The following example illustrates this:

Assume that it is now 2 pm on January 29th, 2014 (GMT -5: Eastern Time, US & Canada). A purchase has just been made and an invoice email has just been sent.  If the timestamp on the invoice email indicates that the purchase was made at:

  1. 2 pm on January 29th, 2014, then select (GMT -5: Eastern Time, US & Canada)
  2. 1 pm on January 29th, 2014, then select (GMT -6: Central Time, US & Canada)
  3. 12 noon on January 29th, 2014, then select (GMT -7: Mountain Time, US & Canada)
  4. 11 am on January 29th, 2014, then select (GMT -8: Pacific Time, US & Canada)


If you are on the updated dashboard (how can I tell?):

  1. Go to the Store Settings section of your dashboard

  2. Under Store URL, enter the Store URL that you would like your new customers to be sent to

  3. Click the Save Changes button to save your changes

 

If you are on the previous dashboard (how can I tell?):

  1. Go to the Email & Pages section of your dashboard

  2. Go to the 'ReferralCandy short URL' row in the Campaign Settings box on the right and select the timezone of the timestamp indicated in your invoice email

  3. Changes are saved automatically
