Use a link to give your referred friends a custom offer — such as loyalty points, gift certificates, gifts, memberships, free shipping, and more — with the Promo option, one of the friend offer types for non-Shopify campaigns.
How promo links work
When a referred friend clicks an advocate's referral link, they skip the ReferralCandy-hosted friend landing page and are redirected to the promo link URL you host and set on your dashboard. For example:
A referred friend clicks the referral link (for example,
yourstore.refr.cc/campaign/u/alice).They're redirected to the promo link you set (for example,
promo.yourstore.com?code=discount).
Note: With the Promo option, you fulfill the custom offer directly. ReferralCandy redirects the friend to your promo link, but you host and honor the offer.
Setting up the promo link
From your ReferralCandy dashboard, go to Campaigns > select your campaign.
In the Set rewards section, click Friend offer.
Select the Promo friend offer type.
Fill in the fields:
Reward description — a short description of the offer friends receive.
Promo link — the URL friends are redirected to.
Link expiry — choose No expiry or On a specific date.
Click Save changes.
