When you cancel your ReferralCandy plan and add-ons, cancellation takes effect immediately and your service data is deleted. This cannot be undone.
Note: Uninstalling the ReferralCandy app (Shopify) is not the same as cancelling/deleting your ReferralCandy account. If you want to cancel and delete your data immediately, use the cancellation steps in the Shopify/Other Platforms articles linked at the bottom of this page.
Refund policy (why we don’t prorate)
ReferralCandy invoices are based on services already rendered and referral sales already tracked. Because of this, we operate a strict no-refund policy for all plans.
We don’t offer full, partial, or prorated refunds for:
Unused time
Early cancellation
Non-use of the service
What you may still be billed for after cancelling
Any pending fees or charges at the time of cancellation (for example, from sales generated through your referral program) will still be billed to your payment method on file or invoiced to you in line with our Terms of Service.
If you cancel mid-cycle, what you may still be billed for depends on where you are in your billing cycle:
Base fees:
Billed in advance at the start of a billing period.
If your current period’s base fee has already been billed, it is not refundable or prorated.
Success fees:
Billed in arrears.
This means you may still receive a final invoice for eligible referral sales that were already tracked in your most recent billing period.
Note: common free trial confusion
If you just finished the 7-day trial, the first base fee you see is typically the next full billing period billed in advance. It can feel like the trial “wasn’t 7 days,” but the trial days themselves aren’t charged.
How to confirm what applies to your account
Check Billing for:
Your next invoice date, and
Your most recent paid invoice (to see the billing period that was already billed)
If you want your account to stay active until the end of your billing period
If you’d like your account to remain active until the end of your current billing period and then be cancelled, speak to a human support agent so we can help you with this.
