The store URL is used in the following instances:
As the link target in the button on the friend landing page. For example, if the store URL is set to
http://www.yourstore.comreferred friends clicking the button on the friend landing page will be brought tohttp://www.yourstore.com.If no offer is selected for the friend offer, the friend landing page is disabled, and referred friends who click the referral link are taken directly to the store URL you set.
If the promo link option is selected for the friend offer, the friend landing page is disabled, and referred friends who click the referral link are taken directly to the promo URL you set instead of the store URL.
Shopify: You can only use your primary domain or Shopify-hosted domain to customize your store URL. This ensures that the share URL links to your Shopify store, referrals are detected, and integration with ReferralCandy works.
Update the Store URL
To update your store URL for ReferralCandy:
Go to your Store details page:
From the ReferralCandy dashboard, go to My Store > Store Details.
From your Shopify admin, go to Account > Store details.
Find the Store URL field and enter your store's URL.
Save the changes.
