Generating coupon codes depends on the eCommerce platform you're on.
For Shopify and BigCommerce stores, coupon codes are auto-generated
For other platforms, you must create the coupon codes yourself in your platform's admin panel and upload the codes to the ReferralCandy dashboard
Set up coupons
Step 1: Create coupons in your platform
For non-Shopify merchants, you're required to create coupon codes in your store platform and then upload them to ReferralCandy. Here are helpful articles for some supported platforms:
Step 2: Upload coupons to ReferralCandy
Advocate reward coupons
From the ReferralCandy dashboard, go to Campaigns > Select your campaign.
Go to Rewards and click the Advocate Reward tab.
If you're using FlexiTiers, select the tier you want to edit to expand. Click Edit reward settings.
Select the Coupon reward type.
Under Coupon type, select Single Use or Multi Use.
For single-use coupons, paste the codes into the text field or upload a CSV file (we highly recommend via CSV file).
If you’re pasting directly: enter ONE coupon code PER LINE (do not comma-separate).

COUPON02
COUPON03
For a single multi-use coupon, input the code and add a coupon expiry date.
Click Save changes.
Friend offer coupons
From the ReferralCandy dashboard, go to Campaigns > Select your campaign.
Go to Rewards and click the Friend Offer tab.
Select the Coupon offer type.
Input your multi-use coupon code and set the coupon expiry date
Click Save changes.
Note: ReferralCandy doesn't support single-use coupons for the friend offer, only multi-use coupon codes. Learn more
