Build an advertising audience of highly engaged leads on Facebook through your referral program. These leads are people who were referred by your advocates and expressed interest in your store by clicking a referral link, but did not complete a purchase.
Integrate Meta Pixel with ReferralCandy
The friend offer landing page is where referred friends claim your referral program's offer before they are redirected to your store. ReferralCandy automatically adds the tracking pixel to this page so you can build an audience on Facebook.
Step 1: Create a Meta Pixel
Create your Meta Pixel using this guide.
Find your Pixel ID and copy it.
Step 2: Paste the pixel ID in ReferralCandy
Once your Meta Pixel ID is extracted, navigate to ReferralCandy:
Go to your Integrations > Ads & retargeting page:
From the ReferralCandy dashboard, go to Integrations > Ads & Retargeting.
From your Shopify admin, go to Integrations > Ads & Retargeting.
In the Facebook Pixels section, paste the ID in the Facebook pixel ID field.
Save the changes.
Create a Facebook custom audience
It's recommended that you create a new Facebook audience using website traffic to your newly created Pixel. You must exclude users who have already made a successful purchase on your store from the retargeting ads.
Once your audience is populated, you’ll be able to run ads to retarget your referral program leads on Facebook.
