Before you start multi-languages integration:

Multiple languages based on integration

The steps to enable multiple language integration depends on the type of integration that you are using to connect your store with ReferralCandy:

Email integration

You need to specify the Advocate's preferred language in the invoice email that is BCC’ed to ReferralCandy using the list of locale abbreviations below.

For example, add "es" to the invoice for Spanish. This can be added anywhere in the invoice email, which helps ReferralCandy identify the preferred language for that Advocate. The language information in the invoice is automatically scanned once sent.

JavaScript and API integrations

You need to specify the Advocate's preferred language as part of the JavaScript integration using the list of locale abbreviations below. For example, data-locale="es" lets us know that you want to use the Spanish template for this Advocate.

Shopify

Shopify sends the Advocate's locale to ReferralCandy when they interact with your emails and pages. To manage languages in your Shopify store, follow this article.

Language not supported? If you're running your referral program in a language not supported by ReferralCandy, follow this article.
