The Reminder Emails are follow-up emails sent to your customers at specified intervals based on the conditions you set around their referral activity. It is recommended that you set a 2-week interval between emails to avoid becoming spammy, which can reduce email engagement and deliverability.

Enabling reminder emails

To turn on reminder emails:

  1. On the dashboard, go to Campaigns > Select your campaign.

  2. Click Email Settings.

  3. In the Reminder Emails section, click the toggle to turn on.

  4. Click Save changes.

Note: Only customers who are subscribed to receiving communications from you can receive this email. You may choose to ignore marketing email preference.

Setting up reminder emails

When turned on, you can set an interval when the reminder email is sent. Then, select and configure the conditions for when the reminder emails stop sending*:

  • Stop the reminder email when a contact meets a specific number of referrals

  • Stop the reminder email when a number of emails has been sent to a contact

  • Keep sending the reminder email

If you choose Keep sending until 12 months have passed, you don't need to worry about reminder emails becoming spammy. ReferralCandy runs on an adaptive system that spaces out email delivery if it's detected that your customers don't interact with the emails, eventually stopping them from receiving the reminder email.

*Note: Reminder emails will stop sending 12 months after an Advocate is enrolled in your referral campaign, regardless of the conditions you set.
