ReferralCandy auto-generates the coupon codes for you in your Shopify Discounts after each successful referral. The steps below are the same whether you're setting up the coupon as your advocate reward or your friend offer.

Set up the coupon
From your Shopify admin, open ReferralCandy and go to Campaigns. Select your campaign, then open Advocate reward or Friend offer.
Open the reward tier you want to set up and click Edit reward settings.
Select An amount off coupon.
Set the discount value (a fixed amount or a percentage), an optional minimum order requirement, and the coupon expiry.
Under Product collections, choose whether the coupon applies to all your products or only selected collections.

Click Save.
Discount combinations
In the Combinations section, choose which discount types your coupon can stack with at checkout: Product discounts, Order discounts, and Shipping discounts. This applies to new coupons created after you save — it doesn't change codes already issued. Learn more about Shopify discount combinations.
Subscription apps
