Customize the default message template when Advocates share their referral link on social media

You can edit the default X, Facebook and WhatsApp sharing messages and images that appear when your Advocates share their link on social media.

To edit your social media sharing settings:

  1. On your ReferralCandy dashboard, go to Campaigns and click All Campaigns.

  2. Go to your active campaign and click Social Media Messages.

  3. Edit your Facebook, X or WhatsApp sharing message.


Facebook

  1. Click the Facebook tab.

  2. Customize your default sharing message and image. You will see a preview as you make edits.

    • Edit the Facebook share card title

    • Edit the Facebook share card body

    • Add a picture to the sharing card. Select Custom image to upload an image* from your device. You can also select Default Logo to use your logo as the card image

  3. Click Save Changes once you're done.

*Your image should be 1200px by 630px in JPG or PNG format. Upload limit is 1MB.

X

  1. Click the X tab.

  2. Customize your default sharing message and image. You will see a preview as you make edits.

    • Add your X handle to the tweet

    • Edit the X message

  3. You can choose to add a card by ticking the "Include X Card Support" checkbox. Once checked, you can:

    • Edit the X share card title

    • Edit the X share card description

    • Add a custom image. Click Upload logo to import an image* from your device

  4. Click Save Changes once you're done.

*The ideal image dimension is 800px by 418px. Upload limit is 1MB and image should be in JPG or PNG format.

WhatsApp

  1. Click the WhatsApp tab.

  2. Customize your default WhatsApp message and image. You will see a preview as you make edits.

  3. Click Save Changes once you're done.
