You can unsubscribe a contact to stop them from receiving email communications about your referral campaign.
Whether a contact is subscribed or unsubscribed has no bearing on whether they can participate in your referral program. If you wish to stop an enrolled Advocate from referring and earning rewards, read How to ban a contact.
Unsubscribing a contact
On the dashboard, go to the Contacts page.
In the search box, enter the contact's name or email address.
Once you find the contact, click Unsubscribe.
Unsubscribing contacts from a list
To unsubscribe multiple existing contacts from a list:
Prepare a CSV file first with the following columns:
email - contains the contacts' email addresses.
locale - contains the contacts' language preferences.
On the dashboard, go to the Contacts page.
Click Unsubscribe Customers.
A popup form appears. Click the Upload CSV file button and select the file from your device.
Once the file is uploaded, click Unsubscribe Customers.
You can unsub a maximum of 10,000 contacts per file.
