Use a link to provide a custom friend offer such as loyalty points, gift certificates, gifts, memberships, and more through the Promo link option.
How promo links work
When the referred friend clicks an advocate's referral link, they skip the friend landing page (hosted by ReferralCandy), and are redirected to the promo link URL (hosted by you) that you set on the dashboard. For example:
Referred friend clicks the referral link (e.g.,
yourstore.refr.cc/campaign/u/alice).The friend gets redirected to the promo link you set (e.g.,
promo.yourstore.com?code=discount).
Note: You need to fulfill the custom offer directly if you choose to use the Promo link option.
Setting up the promo link
From the ReferralCandy dashboard, go to Campaigns > Select your campaign.
Go to Rewards and click the Friend Offer tab.
Select the Promo friend offer type.
Enter your Promo Link, description, and the Link expiry.
Click Save Changes.
