Build an advertising audience of highly engaged leads on AdRoll through your referral program. These are people who have been referred by your Advocates and expressed interest in your store by clicking a link to claim the offer, but did not follow through and complete a purchase at your store.
Integrate AdRoll with ReferralCandy
The friend offer landing page is where referred friends claim your referral program's offer before they are redirected to your store. ReferralCandy automatically adds the AdRoll script tag to this page so you can build an audience on AdRoll.
Step 1: Create an AdRoll audience
From your AdRoll account, select your advertiser profile and navigate to Audience. Ensure that the AdRoll Pixel for your advertiser profile has been set up.
Under Audience Type, select URL Visited to match

.Add an Audience Name (e.g., "ReferralCandy") and click Create Audience. Once the audience is created, you are redirected to the Audience page.
Under AdRoll Pixel, click View Pixel.
Go to the script tag and extract the advertiser ID
adroll_adv_id
and Pixel IDadroll_pix_id
.
Step 2: Paste the IDs in ReferralCandy
Once your AdRoll advertiser and pixel IDs are extracted, navigate to ReferralCandy:
Go to your Integrations > Ads & retargeting page:
From the ReferralCandy dashboard, go to Integrations > Ads & Retargeting.
From your Shopify admin, go to Integrations > Ads & Retargeting.
In the AdRoll section, paste the copied IDs in the AdRoll advertiser ID and AdRoll pixel ID text fields.
Save the changes.
Note: Page views to your referral program may take up to 24 hours to appear on your AdRoll account's Audience page.
