You have the ability to set a minimum purchase amount condition to determine which purchases count towards rewards.

Ideally, you want to set the minimum purchase amount to be as low as possible so that it's easier for your Advocates to make referrals and earn rewards, thus building positive referral momentum.

However, if you're offering a Cash Reward, make sure that the minimum purchase amount is set above the cash reward amount to prevent yourself from being out of pocket from each referral.


For example, if you set the minimum purchase amount to $10.00:

Scenario 1: A friend makes a referred purchase of $15.00

The referred purchase is considered for the calculation of the monthly subscription and the Advocate is eligible for a reward.

Scenario 2: A friend makes a referred purchase of $5.00

The referred purchase is considered for the calculation of the monthly subscription but the Advocate is not eligible for a reward.

Note:

You are able to change the currency that the minimum purchase amount is based on.

To change the minimum purchase amount:

  1. Go to Campaigns then click on All Campaigns. Select the name of the campaign you are working on.

  2. Click Rewards then go to the Reward Settings tab.

  3. Enter the minimum purchase amount that you wish to set on the Minimum spending for reward eligibility field and click Save Changes.
