Customize the default X (formerly Twitter), Facebook, and WhatsApp sharing messages and images that appear when your advocates share their link on social media.
To edit your social media sharing settings:
From the ReferralCandy dashboard, go to Campaigns > Select your campaign > Social Media Messages.
If you're using multiple languages, select the language you want to edit under the Social Media Messages section.
Start editing your Facebook, X (formerly Twitter), or WhatsApp sharing message. A preview is available for you to see how the sharing message would look like as you make edits.
Click Save changes.
Note: The system doesn't automatically translate the edits you make to the sharing messages. Merchants should manually add translations.
In the Facebook tab, you can customize your default sharing message and image through the following options:
Edit the Facebook share card title
Edit the Facebook share card body
Set the Facebook card title and body for when the campaign is paused or stopped
Add a custom image to the sharing card. Your image should be 1200px by 630px in JPG or PNG format. The upload limit is 1MB. In the Brand image section, you have the following options:
Select Custom image to upload an image from your device
Select Default logo to use your store's logo as the card image
X (formerly Twitter)
In the X tab, you can customize your default sharing message and image through the following options:
Add your X handle to the tweet
Edit the X message
Set the X message for when the campaign is paused or stopped
Add a card by ticking the Include X (formerly Twitter) Card Support checkbox. Once checked, you can:
Edit the X share card title
Edit the X share card description
Set the X share card title and description for when the campaign is paused or stopped
Add a custom image to the share card. The recommended image dimension is 800px by 418px. The upload limit is 1MB and the image should be in JPG or PNG format.
In the WhatsApp tab, customize your default WhatsApp message through the following options:
Edit the WhatsApp message
Set the WhatsApp message for when the campaign is paused or stopped
