Uninstalling ReferralCandy from your eCommerce platform does not cancel your subscription. Follow the instructions below to cancel or delete your account.
Once deleted, account access, campaigns, pending rewards for advocates, and active referral links will all be disabled. Make sure to download any information you want to retain before account deletion.
Cancelling/deleting your ReferralCandy account is permanent, and your data can’t be recovered after.
If you have pending rewards you want to make sure are fulfilled (for example, cash payouts), or you’re unsure what exports you may need (for example, contacts or billing history), you can contact a human support agent before cancelling. Otherwise, it’s expected you’ll complete the cancellation on your own using the steps below.
How to cancel your plan and delete your account (Shopify)
In Shopify admin, go to Apps → ReferralCandy.
In the ReferralCandy app menu, go to Account.
Open the Plans tab.
Scroll down to Delete account, then click Delete account.
In the confirmation window:
Tick all required checkboxes (acknowledging deletion is permanent and you’ve downloaded what you need).
Select your main reason for deleting.
Add any additional feedback (optional).
Click Cancel subscription and delete all data to confirm.
Tip: The final button may stay disabled until all required checkboxes are ticked.
