[Other Platforms] Deleting and cancelling my account

Cancel your ReferralCandy plan and permanently delete your ReferralCandy account data from the ReferralCandy dashboard.

Important

Removing ReferralCandy from your store (for example, removing a script/snippet, disabling widgets, or removing an integration) does not cancel your ReferralCandy subscription. Follow the instructions below from your ReferralCandy dashboard to cancel your plan and request deletion.

To cancel your plan and request permanent deletion of your ReferralCandy account data, follow the steps below from your ReferralCandy dashboard.


Before you delete your account

Deleting your ReferralCandy account is permanent, and your data can’t be recovered after.

Once deleted, the following will be disabled:

  • Account access

  • Campaigns

  • Pending rewards for advocates

  • Active referral links

Make sure to download or export any information you want to keep before proceeding.

Tip: If you’ll need invoices later (for example, for accounting), download them from Billing History before you delete — once your account is deleted you can’t log in to get them. Already deleted and need past invoices? You don’t need to log in: just let us know. Your invoices are retained even after deletion, and our team can send them to you.

If you have pending rewards you want to ensure are fulfilled (for example, cash payouts), or you’re unsure what exports you may need (for example, contacts or billing history), let us know before cancelling and we can help. Otherwise, it’s expected you’ll complete the cancellation on your own using the steps below.


Before you cancel: understand what may still be billed

Cancellation takes effect immediately, but charges depend on your billing cycle:

  • Base fee is billed in advance at the start of a billing period.

    • If it’s already been billed for your current period, it isn’t refundable or prorated.

  • Success fees are billed in arrears for eligible referral sales tracked in your most recent billing period.

    • You may still receive a final invoice for success fees after you cancel.

Tip: Open Billing first and note your next invoice date, then open your most recent paid invoice to see the billing period that was already billed.


How to cancel your plan and delete your account (Other Platforms)

  1. From your ReferralCandy dashboard, go to Account.

  2. Open the Plans tab (it’s under the More views dropdown).

  3. Scroll down to Delete account, then click Delete account.

  4. In the confirmation window:

    • Tick all required checkboxes (acknowledging deletion is permanent and you’ve downloaded what you need).

    • Select your main reason for deleting.

    • Add any additional feedback (optional).

  5. Click Cancel subscription and delete all data to confirm.

Tip: The final button may stay disabled until all required checkboxes are ticked.
