If you're on Squarespace, you can connect your store to ReferralCandy using Email Integration by following these procedures:
Add ReferralCandy as a contributor in your store
Add a tracking code to your Squarespace store
Add ReferralCandy as a contributor
Go to your Squarespace dashboard and go to your store's website.
Go to Settings and then go to Permissions.
Click Invite Contributor. The invite form will pop up.
Fill in the Squarespace invitation form as below to give permission to ReferralCandy:
Go to Integration page in ReferralCandy to copy your unique ReferralCandy email address.
Paste the unique email address into invitation form and use "ReferralCandy" as the contributor name:
Give ReferralCandy Store Manager permission. (By doing this, ReferralCandy can receive your order invoices, but cannot make changes to your Squarespace website)
Click Invite to save the form. An email will be sent to your ReferralCandy dashboard under the invoice emails page.
Open the email and click Accept Invitation. This will open a new Squarespace site.
Once open, click Continue with email and fill out the following information:
First name: ReferralCandy
Last name: Inbox
Email: [use your campaign's invoice inbox. See Step 4a.]
Password: [use any secure password, we do not require access to this account]
Click Continue to create the account.
After these steps, we should start receiving your invoice emails. Please give our engineers a bit of time to configure your integration. Once the configuration is done, the processed orders will show up on your Purchases page.
Add a tracking code to your Squarespace store
From your Squarespace store's website, go to Settings > Advanced > Code Injection.
Scroll down to the bottom of the page and find the "Order Confirmation Page" section. This is where you'll paste the ReferralCandy tracking code.
Note: Please do not paste the code in the Order Status Page field. This is to avoid tracking duplicate purchase entries since customers can revisit the Order Status Page at any time.
Copy the code from the ReferralCandy Integration page.
Go back to Squarespace and paste the code in the "Order Confirmation Page" code injection field.
Click Save.
And you're done! Once the invoice is processed successfully, you will start seeing store purchases on the Purchases & Referrals page. Processing the first invoice may take up to 24 hours.
