What is a referral link?

Last Updated: Mar 28, 2017

A referral link is a link that is given out to each customer who is invited to participate your referral program. This link is unique to each advocate and appears in each advocate's Sharing Page.

This link is used by our app to track sharing and referrals by advocates. Here's an example of the link: http://acmetoys.refr.cc/johnsmith

The first part of the referral link (http://acmetoys.refer.cc/) is derived from your vanity URL.

The second part of the referral link (johnsmith) is a unique code that helps us to track shares and referrals, and is derived from your advocate's first and last name, or email.

When referred friends click on the link, they will be brought to a Friend Offer Landing Page which shows a coupon code that can be used at your store.
