How do I edit my emails & pages without affecting my customers?

If you're changing the design or layout of your emails & pages, you might not want your customers to receive the interim designs. 

Here's how you can do it in ReferralCandy: 

If you are on the updated dashboard (how can I tell?):

  1. Go to "Emails & Pages". 

  2. Click on the gear icon on your active theme, and select "Duplicate":

  3. Click "Edit theme" on the duplicated theme, and work on that duplicated theme. 

  4. Once you're done, click "Publish" on your duplicated theme! Your customers won't be affected by your interim designs at all. 

If you are on the previous dashboard (how can I tell?):

Unfortunately, the previous dashboard can't support more than 1 theme at a time. However, you can disable the sending of the Referral and Reminder Emails so that customers don't receive interim emails. 

*Note: get in touch with our Support Team to upgrade your dashboard to the new one for free! 
  1. Go to "Emails & Pages".

  2. Under "Referral Email", change the sending delay period to "Never". 

  3. Under "Reminder Email", change the sending frequency to "disabled".

  4. Once you're done editing your emails & pages, remember to turn on the sending of both the Referral and Reminder Emails.
